Career path

As a coach, I work with my clients to combine a wealth of real-world business, communications, creativity and life experience with a pragmatic, non-judgmental and energizing approach. I help them reach their personal and business goals. My principal motivation is to serve my clients. I accomplish this by assisting them in formulating their challenges in such a way that the steps forward are clear, realistic and do-able. I act as a catalyst for the client’s own natural creative energies so that results are obtained faster and more effectively.

I have enjoyed a very successful career in the field of television and communications. I have also accumulated much managerial experience and worked in the educational field. I have been involved in more than fifty television series as director, producer, executive producer, broadcast executive and consultant. I started my own corporation MMMedia in 2000 to develop my own entrepreneurial skills.

I was Executive Producer of Canadian Sesame Street (CBC) for fifteen years. As Creative Head of Children’s and Family programming at Société Radio-Canada (1990-97), I managed a staff of over 60 employees. Together, we created award-winning programming. My management style was inspired by the coaching model. ‘Ask the powerful questions to empower your colleagues to seek powerful solutions.’ After leaving public television in 1997, I was VP Youth and Family Programming at Motion International (1997-2000). Later, I joined Zone3 as producer, International Productions. I taught Communications at Concordia University and I have traveled extensively. In 2000, I created MMMedia, a coaching, mentoring, production and consultation company.
