			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>	There is no perfect time to start. Just jump in and get started. You want to be a public speaker, schedule a free talk for a local service club. Or join Toastmasters or take a speech class. You don’t have to know everything to get going. Just get into the game. You will learn by doing. “First you jump off the cliff and you build wings on the way down.” (Ray Bradbury)<br />
	If you are afraid, so what? Feel the fear and do it anyway. The key is just to get started. Quit waiting until you are perfectly ready. You never will be. You have to begin. Start taking the actions that will get you to where you want to be.  “A journey of 1,000 miles must begin with one step.” (Chinese proverb)<br />
	Where do you begin? First take 100% responsibility for your life and your success. Clarify your life purpose, decide what you want, set specific and measurable goals for all the parts of your personal vision, break them down into specific actions steps you can take, create affirmations for each one of your goals, and begin the practice of visualizing your completed goals every day. You can enroll someone to be your partner to keep you accountable or you can begin a mastermind group. Then take action on your most important goals every day. Pay the price by doing whatever it takes, ask for whatever you need with no fear of rejection, ask for and respond to feedback, commit to never-ending improvement, and persist in the face of whatever obstacles may come up. You’ll be up and running toward the completion of your major goals. Next, to build and maintain momentum, create a program for cleaning up your incompletions, work on transforming your limiting beliefs, pick a habit to work on developing for the next quarter, commit to reading one of the books that will help you to move ahead. Start saying no to the people and things that distract you from your major goals, and find a mentor or a coach to work with you and keep you on track. There are no overnight successes. Apply the fundamental success principles needed to succeed in any venture.<br />
	As long as you are actively in motion in the pursuit of your goals, you will create precessional effects that will turn out to be far more important than you initially were capable of understanding or intending. A path of opportunities just keeps unfolding in front of and on the sides of you. Each new success opens up new unforeseen possibilities. “If your actions create a legacy that inspires others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, then you are an excellent leader.” (Dolly Parton)</p>

<p>Martin Seligman, the father of Positive Psychology has a wonderful definition of well-being in his latest book &#8216;Flourish&#8217;. How do you score in these five areas? What will you do this week, this spring to improve your well-being?</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>POSITIVE EMOTION</strong>: The pleasant life. Happiness and life satisfaction. Pleasure, ecstasy, comfort, warmth. A subjective experience.<br />
<strong>ENGAGEMENT</strong>: Absorption, loss of self-consciousness, being in the flow.<br />
<strong>MEANING</strong>: Belonging to and servicing something larger than oneself.<br />
<strong>ACCOMPLISHMENT</strong>: Achievement. Winning.<br />
<strong>POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS</strong>: “Other people”. Very little that is positive is solitary.</p>
<p>All our greatest joys and pleasures take place with or around other people. Scientist have found that doing a kindness produces the single most reliable momentary increase in well-being of any exercise.<br />
Find one wholly unexpected kind thing to do tomorrow and just do it.  Notice what happens to your mood.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Le printemps est une saison idéale pour prendre des résolutions. On sait que quatre sur cinq personnes qui en font au jour de l&#8217;an les abandonnent avant la fin de janvier.<br />
Pourquoi se faire des promesses, année après année, pour les abandonner aussi rapidement?<br />
Pourquoi se satisfaire de résolutions au lieu de résultats qui transformeraient réellement notre vie?<br />
Pourquoi se faire les mêmes vieilles promesses pour toujours finir dans le découragement et l&#8217;insatisfaction?<br />
La réponse est très simple. C&#8217;est que les résolutions ne requièrent que des mots.<br />
Le résultat demande qu&#8217;on pose des gestes, que l&#8217;on passe à l&#8217;action.<br />

<p>« Il faut toujours avoir un plan B, même lorsqu&#8217;on a un emploi qu&#8217;on aime. Que ferait-on si on changeait d&#8217;emploi? Qu&#8217;est-ce qui nous satisferait? Pour plusieurs personnes, l&#8217;élément crucial dans la réflexion avant de quitter un emploi confortable est le seuil de tolérance à l&#8217;insécurité financière. À 30 ou 35 ans, les changements se font plus facilement. Plus tard, les enjeux d&#8217;ordre économique et familial sont plus importants.</p>
<p>Une transition de carrière doit se préparer surtout si on a une famille et une hypothèque à payer. Il faut se donner un plan d&#8217;un an. Certains pigent dans leur REER, d&#8217;autres vendent leur voiture. Ça peut demander énormément de courage.</p>
<p>Il arrive que des clients surmontent ce cap de l&#8217;insécurité financière. Tanné d&#8217;un emploi non satisfaisant, il quitte un travail très payant et une grosse caisse de retraite. Il a l&#8217;impression d&#8217;avoir fait le tour du jardin. Il n&#8217;est pas heureux et ne se voyait pas vivre cela pour encore plusieurs années. Ses amis le trouvent fou.  Ce qu&#8217;ils ne savent pas, c&#8217;est qu&#8217;un fois sa décision prise avec l&#8217;aide de son coach, il a prévu de mettre de l&#8217;argent de coté, de prendre le temps de chercher un nouvel emploi plus satisfaisant et d&#8217;entreprendre sa transition en douceur sur plusieurs semaines ou mois afin de réduire le niveau de stresse au minimum, pour lui et sa famille. Il est maintenant très heureux dans un nouvel emploi qu&#8217;il trouve très satisfaisant. L&#8217;expérience a contribué énormément à son estime de soi! »</p>
