POSITIVE EMOTION. The pleasant life. Happiness and life satisfaction. Pleasure, ecstasy, comfort, warmth. A subjective experience.
ENGAGEMENT: Absorption, loss of self-consciousness, being in the flow.
MEANING. Belonging to and service something bigger than oneself.
ACCOMPLISHMENT. Achievement. Winning.
POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS. “Other people”. Very little that is positive is solitary. All our great joys and pleasures take place with or around other people. Scientist have found that doing a kindness produces the single most reliable momentary increase in well-being of any exercise. Find one wholly unexpected kind thing to do tomorrow and just do it. Notice what happens to your mood.
